This review updates our 2011 review of levetiracetam [Levetiracetam-Rex], an established broadspectrum
second-generation antiepileptic drug (AED). Levetiracetam-Rex now has a new brand name, Everet, which is approved for use in epileptic patients ≥6 years of age, as add-on therapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation.
