In this review:
It was a great pleasure to attend the annual NZSO meeting in Christchurch in September and have the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, all of whom are working to improve outcomes for NZ cancer patients. This is a time of significant change, with the dissolving of the DHB structure and creation of Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora. It is clear there is much to be done to address a wide range of health inequalities across the country, particularly for Māori.
