Dr Sisira Jayathissa is a General Physician and a Geriatrician. He is also the clinical director of medicine and community health at the Hutt Valley DHB. He is actively involved in both undergraduate and post graduate medical education in the Wellington region. In addition to his medical qualifications he has completed a Masters of Business Studies in Health and a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology with major emphasis of pharmaco-epidemiology and biostatistics. Sisira is currently a member of the editorial advisory board for the New Zealand Formulary. Dr Jayathissa selects the studies and provides commentary for Internal Medicine Research Review.
