Dr Collette Bromhead

Collette obtained her PhD in 2004 and is a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with 20 years’ experience in molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. She was recently appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Microbiology in the College of Health at Massey University. As well as academic teaching and research, she maintains roles with IANZ and the National Cervical Screening Program, latterly as part of the Technical Reference Group advising the Ministry on the implementation of HPV Primary Screening for Cervical Cancer. She has been a representative on the NZ Institute of Medical Laboratory Scientists Council and maintains her contributions to the profession as deputy editor of the NZIMLS Journal. .. read more »
